The ABN is offering limited support to individuals who desire to be involved in any of the missions opportunities below:

INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES 

1.MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES WITH JESSUP BAPTIST CHURCH

2.MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES WITH THE CHURCH AT SEVERN RUN

Trip #1. Dominican Republic

3.MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES WITH RIVA TRACE BAPTIST CHURCH

Trip #1. Mexico

Dates: June 26-July 1.

Cost: about $1000 (This price will vary depending on when plane tickets are purchased).

Trip #2. Cuba

Date: TBD

Cost: $2500

 

LOCAL MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES

1. Elevate Church

Elevate Church would like to partner with ABN churches or individuals from several churches for the purpose of holding a Kids Club with 100+ children at the Housing Authority for the City of Annapolis (HACA) community center in Eastport. The camp will be for kids in 1st-6th grade and could center around sports, art, music, fun activities, or a combination. They need about 10-15 people to help plan, provide supplies, and run the camp. The camp would be in the mornings from about 9 am to 12 noon.

2. Riva Trace Baptist Church

RTBC has a lot of local opportunities which extend into the greater Davidsonville/Edgewater/Annapolis area. They have an outreach to Tyler Heights Elementary School which meets once a month throughout the school year. For more information, contact tylerheights@rtbc.org. They also have a food pantry which feeds 100 people the first Saturday of every month. For more information, contact foodpantry@rtbc.org. RTBC has a garden that they use to supplement the food pantry with fresh produce and it operates the whole of the growing season. You can contact them at missions@rtbc.org. They have City Serve, which is when they go out into the community and do multiple projects on one day. For more information, contact cityserve@rtbc.org. RTBC also participate in Winter Relief every year, where they partner with other local ministries to care for the homeless in their area. For more information, contact winterrelief@rtbc.org.
