Doctrinal Beliefs

The Arundel Baptist Network subscribes to The Baptist Faith and Message 2000. A statement adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in the year 2000, which summarizes the SBC thought on matters of faith and practice.

Note: To qualify for ABN membership, all our affiliated churches are required to adopt the Baptist Faith and Message (2000 or 1963) or a similar statement in accord with the beliefs expressed in these Southern Baptist documents.

The ABN Salvation Message

God loves you and sent His Son, Jesus, to live as an example and die on the cross for you. He hopes to have a relationship with you. The way to start a relationship with God is to simply ask Him.

In the Bible, the apostle John wrote that "God so loved the world (you and me) that He gave His only Son (Jesus Christ) that whoever believes in Him (Jesus) might have eternal life (in heaven)."

If you would like to have a relationship with God, through Jesus Christ, simply ask Him for that relationship. He will receive you as you receive Him into your life.

Once you've established that relationship with God, find others who know Him too. Next, get a Bible and read it. Also, find a community of believers to spend time with, who can help you learn more about God and His Word. If you need someone to help you know God, and/or help you find a bible believing church in your area, you may contact the ABN office or one of our churches by clicking on the "Churches" link at the top of this page.
